Possible Causes
Blown lamp holder or ceramic lampholder damage, Faulty lamp switch or relay on the PCB, Broken neutral or live wire to the lamp, Incorrect bulb type causing repeated failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Switch off power before changing bulbs or accessing the lamp holder. Use only oven-rated bulbs.
- Confirm bulb: Ensure you are using the correct wattage and temperature-rated oven bulb specified by Leisure.
- Inspect lampholder: Remove the glass lens and bulb. Check the lampholder for burning, cracks, or loose contacts. Replace if damaged.
- Check wiring: From the rear of the cooker, trace the lamp wiring to the control board or switch. Repair any breaks or heat-damaged insulation.
- Test supply: With power restored and extreme caution, measure voltage at the lampholder when the light should be on. If no voltage is present but the rest of the oven works, the lamp relay or switch on the PCB may be faulty and require replacement of the control board.
