Oven light will not turn on, but the oven heats normally.

Safety first: Turn off power and allow the oven to cool. Glass bulbs can be hot and fragile.

• Replace bulb: Remove the glass light cover inside the oven (usually twists off). Replace the bulb with the correct Monogram high-temperature oven bulb (same wattage and base type).
• Check socket: If a new bulb does not work, inspect the light socket for corrosion or burned contacts. Replace if damaged.
• Test voltage: With power on and the light switch activated, carefully test for voltage at the socket (only if you are qualified). If no voltage is present and wiring is intact, the light relay on the control board may be faulty, and the board should be replaced.
