Possible Causes

Intermittent convection fan motor, Loose fan motor connector, Faulty fan mode relay on the control board, Overheating fan motor thermal fuse.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the power supply and allow the oven to cool completely.

Steps:

  • Check fan operation: Start a fan-assisted mode and observe the fan. If it starts and then stops, suspect motor overheating or a poor connection.
  • Access motor: Remove the rear cover and the inner rear panel to access the convection fan motor and its wiring.
  • Inspect connectors: Gently wiggle the fan motor connectors (with power off) and look for any signs of arcing or looseness.
  • Test motor: Measure the motor's resistance and compare it to the manufacturer's specifications. If the motor only runs when tapped or is excessively noisy, replace the convection fan motor.
  • Control board: If the motor is in good condition but loses power intermittently, the fan relay on the electronic control board may be failing, and the board should be replaced.
