Morphy Richards oven displays E20 and beeps continuously; no functions can be selected.

Safety first: No internal access is required for the initial troubleshooting steps.

Steps:

• Disable child lock: On many Morphy Richards ovens, press and hold the Stop/Cancel and Clock buttons simultaneously for 3–5 seconds (or consult your user manual) to toggle the child lock.
• Power reset: Turn off the power supply for 5 minutes, then restore it. Attempt the child lock sequence again.
• Check for stuck keys: If certain buttons do not respond or appear permanently pressed, clean the control panel thoroughly. If the issue persists, it may be necessary to replace the control fascia / keypad assembly.
• Firmware fault: If the E20 error persists, the electronic control board may require replacement.
