Oven shows E6 and some or all heating functions are disabled.

Safety first: Disconnect mains power and allow the oven to cool completely before working on it.

Steps to diagnose:

• Identify which function fails: Test conventional bake, grill, and fan-assisted modes (if possible) to see which element is not heating.
• Access elements: Remove the rear panel to access the terminals of the top (grill) and bottom heating elements. Some models also require removing the inner back panel of the cavity.
• Check wiring: Inspect the wires leading to each element for burns, breaks, or loose spade connectors. Reseat or replace damaged connectors.
• Test elements with a multimeter: Disconnect one wire from each element and measure resistance across the element terminals. A typical element will show a finite resistance (often 15–60 Ω). Infinite resistance indicates a failed (open) element that must be replaced.
• Replace faulty element: Remove mounting screws from inside the cavity, gently pull the element forward, transfer wires to the new OBH Nordica-compatible element, and reinstall.
• Control board check: If all elements test good but do not receive power when selected, the heating relay or triac on the main control board may be defective. Replace the main PCB if necessary.
• Test: Reassemble, restore power, and run a preheat cycle to confirm normal heating and that E6 is cleared.
