Possible Causes
Firmware corruption on main PCB, Overheated control board, Poor connection at control board connectors, Failing microcontroller on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before accessing the control area.
Steps to attempt recovery:
- Power cycle: Disconnect power for at least 10 minutes to allow capacitors to discharge. Restore power and check if F1 returns.
- Improve cooling: Ensure that the oven's cooling vents around the control panel are not blocked. Overheating can trigger internal errors.
- Inspect control board connections: Remove the control panel and reseat all connectors on the main PCB, including power, sensor, and user interface harnesses.
- Check for heat damage: Look for darkened areas or warped plastic near the control board. If the board shows signs of overheating, replacement is recommended.
- Replace main PCB: If F1 persists after reseating connectors and ensuring proper ventilation, replace the OBH Nordica-compatible main control board.
Note: Some F1 errors are non-recoverable internal faults; in such cases, only board replacement will resolve the issue.
