• 3. Access door switch: Remove the top or front trim to access the door switch assembly near the latch area.
• 4. Test switch: With power off, disconnect the switch and test continuity while pressing and releasing the actuator. Replace if it does not change state reliably.
• 5. Check wiring: Inspect the harness from the switch to the control board for breaks or loose connectors.
• 6. Adjust latch: If the latch is slightly misaligned, adjust mounting screws or replace the latch hook to ensure proper engagement.
