Possible Causes
Shorted or blown oven lamp, Faulty lamp holder, Damaged wiring to the lamp assembly, Failed lamp relay or triac on the PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the mains power and allow the oven to cool before touching the lamp area.
- Replace lamp: Remove the glass lamp cover inside the cavity (usually twists off). Replace the bulb with a high-temperature oven lamp of the correct wattage and fitting (e.g., E14, 25W).
- Inspect lamp holder: Check for signs of burning or cracking on the lamp holder. If damaged, replace the lamp holder assembly.
- Check wiring: From the rear, inspect the lamp wiring for heat damage or loose connections.
- Test operation: Restore power and test the light button or door-activated light. If the new lamp does not work and the wiring is intact, the control PCB lamp circuit might be faulty and require replacement.
