How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Disconnect from mains before accessing electronics.
- Reset clock: Turn off power for 10 minutes, then restore and attempt to set the time and date. If E012 reappears, the module may be faulty.
- Check supply voltage: Verify that the oven is connected to the correct mains voltage and that there are no loose neutral or live connections at the terminal block.
- Inspect control board: Remove the top cover and inspect the clock/control PCB for burnt components or bulging capacitors.
- Replace module: If visible damage is present or the error persists after reset, replace the Siemens control/clock module with the correct part number.
