Oven trips the circuit breaker when turned on or during heating.

Safety First: Do not repeatedly reset a breaker that trips immediately. Turn off power and inspect the oven before further use.

• Inspect elements: Check the bake and broil elements for visible cracks or spots where the element may be touching the metal cavity.
• Test elements: Disconnect element leads and test for continuity to chassis ground. Any continuity indicates a shorted element that must be replaced.
• Check wiring: Inspect wiring harnesses behind the rear panel for melted insulation or wires pinched against sharp metal edges. Repair or replace as needed.
• Terminal block: Examine the terminal block for burnt connections that could cause arcing and tripping.
• Control board: If no external shorts are found, the electronic oven control board may be internally shorted and should be replaced.
