• Shield from wind: Move the grill to a more sheltered location or use a windbreak.
• Clean RTD probe: Gently clean the temperature probe of grease and soot.
• Check RTD wiring: Ensure the RTD connector is firmly seated at the control board.
• Stabilize load: Large, cold food loads can cause swings. Allow extra preheat time and avoid frequent lid opening.
• Replace RTD if needed: If swings remain extreme, replace the RTD temperature probe.
