Grill starts but shuts down after 5–15 minutes with unburned pellets in the firepot.

Safety first: Turn the grill off, unplug it, and wait until all embers are out before cleaning.

• Step 1 – Clean firepot: Remove all ash and unburned pellets from the firepot. Ensure the air holes in the firepot are not blocked.
• Step 2 – Improve pellet quality: Replace pellets with fresh, dry, premium hardwood pellets. Store pellets in a sealed container.
• Step 3 – Check fan operation: Start the grill and confirm the combustion fan runs continuously during the cook. If airflow is weak, clean or replace the fan.
• Step 4 – Verify feed timing: Observe pellet drops into the firepot. If intervals are very long or irregular, the control board or auger motor may be failing and should be serviced.
