Possible Causes
A tripped GFCI or breaker, a faulty power cord, a blown internal fuse on the control board, or a loose power connector at the control board.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Ensure the grill is switched off before checking power connections.
Steps:
- Check Outlet: Plug another appliance into the same outlet to confirm power. Reset any tripped GFCI or breaker.
- Inspect Power Cord: Examine the Napoleon power cord for cuts, burns, or crushed sections. Replace if damaged.
- Verify Cord Connection: Ensure the cord is fully inserted into the grill’s inlet and any strain relief is intact.
- Internal Fuse: If comfortable and as per the manual, remove the control panel and inspect the control board fuse. Replace only with the same type and rating.
Warning: If fuses blow repeatedly, do not continue replacing them. A short circuit exists and must be diagnosed by a technician.
