Heater display is on, but buttons do not respond or respond intermittently.

Safety first: Turn off power before removing the front control panel.

• Dry the panel: If the heater has been exposed to rain or splash, gently dry the keypad area and check for cracks in the overlay.
• Reseat ribbon cable: Carefully unplug and re-plug the ribbon cable between the keypad and control board.
• Test operation: Restore power and test the button response. If the issue remains intermittent, the keypad or UI board likely needs replacement.
