Possible Causes
Open circuit in remote start/stop wiring, incorrect digital input configuration, failed input terminals on controller
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Isolate control circuits before testing continuity.
- Check wiring: Trace the remote start/stop or enable signal wiring from the BMS/timer to the Certikin controller. Repair any breaks or loose connections.
- Test inputs: At the controller, bridge the digital input terminals with a short link (as per manual) to simulate a start command. If the pump starts, the external wiring is at fault.
- Verify configuration: In the controller menu, confirm that the correct digital input is assigned to start/stop and that logic (NO/NC) matches the external device.
If the input terminals do not respond even when bridged, the controller input board may need replacement.
