Pump leaks water from around the clear lid on top of the DAB pump basket.

Turn off the pump before opening the lid to avoid injury or water spray.

Steps to check:

• Inspect O-ring: Remove the lid and examine the O-ring for cracks, flat spots, or swelling. Replace if damaged.
• Clean sealing surfaces: Wipe the lid and pump housing groove clean of sand, hair, and debris.
• Lubricate O-ring: Apply a thin layer of silicone-based pool lube to the O-ring to improve sealing and ease of tightening.
• Reinstall lid: Seat the lid evenly and tighten by hand until snug. Do not overtighten.
