How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Only qualified personnel should measure live voltages. Turn off power before opening covers.

  • Measure supply voltage: Using a multimeter, verify that the line voltage at the pump matches the rating on the Emaux nameplate and is not exceeding it by more than 10%.
  • Check neutral integrity: Ensure the neutral conductor is securely connected and not shared improperly with other circuits.
  • Install surge protection: If not already present, have an electrician install surge protection at the pool equipment subpanel.
  • Reset and test: After correcting any supply issues, power cycle the pump and attempt to restart.

If E12 remains with correct voltage, the input stage of the inverter/control PCB is likely damaged and the module should be replaced.
