How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power and wait for the motor to stop completely before touching it.

Inspect fan and cover: Remove the rear fan cover on the Emaux motor and check the plastic fan for broken blades or looseness on the shaft. Replace if damaged.
Tighten cover screws: Ensure the fan cover is securely fastened and not vibrating against the fan.
Listen after repair: Reassemble and run the pump briefly to confirm the noise is gone.
Internal damage: If noise persists and seems to come from inside the motor body, internal components may be loose; replace the motor assembly.

Do not operate the pump long-term with internal rattling, as it can lead to further damage.

Pump runs but there is a noticeable metallic rattling from inside the motor, especially when starting or stopping.
