Possible Causes
Failed speed control module, Faulty speed selector keypad, Damaged motor speed feedback wiring, Inverter power stage failure
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before opening any electronic compartment. Variable-speed drives contain high-voltage capacitors.
Steps:
- 1. Basic reset: Unplug the pump for at least 10 minutes to allow the inverter to discharge, then reconnect and test speed changes.
- 2. Check keypad: Verify that speed buttons are not stuck and that the keypad overlay is intact. If some buttons work and others do not, the keypad may be faulty.
- 3. Inspect control module: Open the control housing and look for burnt components or swollen capacitors on the Flowclear speed control PCB.
- 4. Wiring check: Ensure all connectors between the control PCB and motor are firmly seated and free of corrosion.
- 5. Replace module: If E11 persists and the pump only runs at a default speed or not at all, replace the Flowclear variable-speed control module or complete motor/control assembly.
