Possible Causes
Broken 0–10 V or 4–20 mA control cable, Incorrect control signal polarity, Misconfigured input type in Lowara drive, Faulty external controller (pool automation system)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power to the control circuits before working on low‑voltage wiring.
- Check control wiring: Verify that the analog or digital control wires are connected to the correct terminals on the Lowara drive as per the wiring diagram. Tighten any loose screws.
- Measure control signal: With the external controller commanding run, measure the signal (e.g. 0–10 V) at the drive input. Confirm it is within the expected range.
- Verify configuration: Enter the drive’s parameter menu and ensure the control input type (voltage/current/digital) matches the external controller output.
- Test local mode: Switch the drive to local/manual mode and start the pump from the keypad. If it runs normally, the issue is with the external control circuit.
- When to call a pro: If E11 persists with correct wiring and signal, the input circuitry on the drive PCB may be damaged and require replacement.
