Pump leaks at the drain plugs on the bottom of the housing.

Safety: Turn off power and close valves to prevent water flow while servicing.

• Remove drain plugs: Unscrew the Sta-Rite pump drain plugs and inspect the threads and o-rings.
• Replace o-rings: Install new OEM o-rings on the drain plugs. Do not use tape in place of o-rings.
• Inspect threads: Check the pump housing threads for cracks. If cracked, the housing may need replacement.
• Reinstall carefully: Hand-tighten the drain plugs; do not overtighten, which can crack the housing.
• Check for leaks: Restore flow and observe the plugs for drips.
