The pump timer or built-in clock does not keep correct time, or programs run at the wrong hours.

Safety first: Follow manufacturer instructions when opening the controller; low-voltage sections may still be present.

Correct settings:

• Manually set the current time and reprogram the on/off schedules according to the Speck controller manual.
• Ensure the controller is not frequently losing power due to a loose supply or a tripping breaker.

Battery / hardware:

• If the controller has a replaceable backup battery, install a new one of the specified type.
• If timekeeping remains erratic, the controller PCB may need replacement.
