AGA range emits a metallic or buzzing noise from the induction hob when in use.

Possible Causes
Pan vibration due to the magnetic field, thin or multi-layer pan base, loose hob mounting brackets, slight coil hum.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure pans are stable and handles are secure.
- Try a different pan: Use a heavier, thicker-based induction pan to reduce noise.
- Adjust power level: Slightly reduce the power setting; many induction hobs are noisier at maximum power or boost.
- Check mounting: Verify that the hob is securely fixed to the worktop and not flexing.
When to call a technician: If the noise is very loud, new, or accompanied by error codes or heating issues, have an engineer inspect the induction module and mounting.
