Possible Causes
Aging or drifting temperature sensor, Loose sensor mounting, Poor electrical contact at the sensor connector, Control board calibration error
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect the power before removing the sensor.
- Verify actual temperature: Use an oven thermometer to compare the actual temperature to the setpoint. Large deviations suggest sensor or control issues.
- Check sensor mounting: Ensure the sensor probe is firmly attached to the rear wall and not directly touching metal racks.
- Test sensor resistance: Remove and measure the sensor as described for F3/F4. Replace if out of specification.
- Control calibration: Some Bauknecht models allow temperature offset adjustment in the settings menu. Adjust within the allowed range if the sensor is functional but readings are consistently off.
Warning: Do not bend the sensor sharply; this can damage the internal element.
