Possible Causes
Failed power relay module, Burnt relay contacts, Loose wiring between power module and elements, Internal short on power board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect mains power before accessing internal electronics.
- Visual inspection: Locate the power relay module (often a separate board near the terminal block). Look for burnt spots or melted solder around the relays.
- Check wiring: Verify tight connections from the power module to the heating elements and from the mains input.
- Test relay output: Qualified persons can test for voltage at the element terminals when heating is commanded. If no voltage is present but the control indicates heating, the relay module is faulty.
- Replace module: Install a new Bauknecht power relay module or complete EOC, depending on design.
Warning: Live testing involves lethal voltages; only trained technicians should perform it.
