Possible Causes
Unsuitable cookware (non-magnetic), cookware too small for the zone, faulty sensing circuit on the power board, loose coil mounting
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Ensure the cooktop is off before changing cookware.
- Check cookware: Use flat-bottomed, ferromagnetic cookware. Test with a magnet; it should stick firmly to the base.
- Center the pan: Place the pan centrally on the marked cooking zone. Very small pans may not be detected on large zones.
- Try another pan: If F51 appears only with one pan, the pan is likely unsuitable.
- Internal check: If F51 appears with all suitable pans, an internal sensing fault is likely. A technician should inspect the coil mounting and power board and replace the module if necessary.
Warning: Do not use warped or uneven pans; they can cause poor detection and overheating.
