Induction cooktop does not power on at all, no lights or beeps

Safety first: Switch off the breaker before opening the cooktop.

• Check breaker: Verify that the circuit breaker has not tripped and that there is power at the wall connection.
• Inspect terminal block: Remove the cooktop and check the mains terminal block for loose wires or signs of overheating.
• Internal fuse: Some Bauknecht cooktops have internal fuses on the main board. Check and replace with identical type and rating if blown, but investigate cause (e.g., surge or short).
• Main board: If supply and fuse are good but the unit is dead, the main control board power supply is likely defective and must be replaced.

Warning: Internal components can retain charge; wait a few minutes after disconnecting power.
