Possible Causes
Partially failed bake element, Failed grill or top element in conventional mode, Faulty convection fan not circulating heat, Temperature sensor drift
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before testing components.
- Compare modes: Test preheat time in fan-assisted vs conventional modes. If one mode is much slower, suspect the element used in that mode.
- Check convection fan: In fan modes, verify that the fan runs. Replace the convection fan motor if it does not spin.
- Measure elements: Test resistance of bake and grill elements. Replace any that are open or significantly higher than typical values.
- Verify sensor: Use an oven thermometer to compare actual vs set temperature. If off by more than 20°C and elements are good, test and replace the temperature sensor.
Warning: Underheating can lead to undercooked food; verify performance after repair.
