Belling Child Lock / Key Lock Activated

Induction hob shows d0 or similar; controls are locked, and there is no heating.

Possible Causes

User-activated safety lock, accidental long press on the lock symbol, control PCB remembering lock state after a power cut

Safety: No internal work is required.

Unlock sequence: On most Belling induction hobs, press and hold the key lock symbol for 3–5 seconds until the indicator goes out. Some models require pressing the '+' and '-' keys together.
Check manual: Refer to the user manual for the exact unlock procedure for your model.
Power reset: If the lock will not clear, isolate the hob for 5 minutes and try again. Persistent lock issues may indicate a faulty touch control PCB.
