Possible Causes

Child lock feature engaged via keypad, Stuck lock button, Control software glitch

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Ensure all burners and oven functions are off while working with the controls.

  • Deactivate child lock: On most Bertazzoni ranges, press and hold the designated lock key (often a key symbol) or a combination such as + and - or Timer and Light for 3–5 seconds until LOC disappears. Refer to the user manual for the exact combination.
  • Power reset: If the lock will not clear, turn off power at the breaker for 2–3 minutes, then restore power and try the unlock sequence again.
  • Check keypad: If the lock key does not respond, inspect the touch panel for cracks or moisture. Dry thoroughly and avoid using excessive water when cleaning.

Note: Child lock affects the oven controls only; gas burners are still manually controlled by the knobs and must be turned off at the valve.
