Possible Causes
Cooktop not receiving electrical power, Tripped circuit breaker, Failed spark module, Loose or disconnected power cord
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off gas supply at the shutoff valve while troubleshooting. Do not use open flames to test for gas.
- Check power: Verify the outlet has power by plugging in another device. Reset any tripped breaker or GFCI.
- Inspect power cord: Ensure the cooktop's power cord is firmly plugged in and not damaged.
- Listen for spark: Turn a burner knob to Ignite. If there is still no clicking, the spark module may have failed.
- Replace spark module: Disconnect power, remove the cooktop top panel, locate the spark module, and replace it if there is no output to any igniter.
