Possible Causes
Loose communication harness between the UI and lower oven board, failed lower oven control board, electrical noise, or surge.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power at the breaker before accessing the control boards.
- Power reset: Turn the breaker OFF for 2–3 minutes, then back ON. Sometimes, F76 clears after a full reset.
- Inspect harness: Remove the rear panel and locate the communication harness between the main UI board and the secondary oven control board. Reseat both ends.
- Check for damage: Look for pinched or cut wires, especially where the harness passes near metal edges.
- Board replacement: If F76 persists and wiring is intact, the lower oven control board or UI board may be defective and require replacement.
