Induction Coil / Pan Resonance Noise
Induction hob makes loud buzzing or humming noises, especially at higher power levels.

Possible Causes
Thin or multi-layer pan base vibrating, High power level on a small pan, Slightly loose induction coil mounting, Normal magnetic vibration
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Noise alone is not usually dangerous, but ensure pans are stable and not vibrating excessively.
- Try different cookware: Use heavier, flat-bottomed, induction-compatible pans. Noise often decreases with better pans.
- Lower power setting: Reduce the power level slightly; many pans buzz more at maximum boost.
- Check pan size: Match pan size to the zone; avoid very small pans on large zones.
If the noise is metallic scraping or accompanied by error codes or shutdowns, have a technician inspect the coil mounting and power module.
