The range beeps continuously and displays F1, often at random times.

Safety first: Turn off power at the breaker before removing any panels.

• Power cycle:
  • Turn off power for 5–10 minutes, then restore.
  • If F1 returns immediately, suspect the control or keypad.
• Check for moisture:
  • If F1 appears after heavy boiling or cleaning, allow the control area to dry for several hours with the power off.
• Inspect keypad and control:
  • Remove the back cover behind the control panel.
  • Check for signs of burning, corrosion, or water damage.
  • Ensure the keypad ribbon cable is fully seated.
• Isolate fault:
  • On models with a separate keypad and control, disconnect the keypad ribbon and restore power.
  • If F1 stops, replace the keypad/touchpad.
  • If F1 continues, replace the electronic oven control (EOC).
