Possible Causes

Electronic clock set to AUTO mode, end time programmed in the past, user not setting manual mode correctly, faulty timer relay contacts.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: No internal work is typically needed for timer settings.

  • Check AUTO indicator: If the word AUTO or a similar symbol is lit, the oven is awaiting a programmed time.
  • Return to manual: Press the Manual or Cook button (varies by model) until the AUTO symbol disappears and the hand symbol or manual indicator appears.
  • Reset clock: Set the correct time of day. Many New World ovens will not operate until the clock is set.
  • Test oven: Select a cooking function and temperature. If there is still no heat, the timer relay inside the clock may have failed, and the clock/programmer will need replacement.
