Display shows 'dOOR', and the oven will not start or self-clean.

Safety: Disconnect from mains before working on door components.

• Check door closure: Ensure the door closes fully and sits evenly against the front frame. Adjust any items preventing closure (trays, shelves).
• Inspect hinges and latch: Look for sagging hinges or a bent latch hook. If the door drops when opened, hinge runners or hinges may be worn and need replacement.
• Locate door switch: On many New World ovens, a plunger switch is located behind the front frame near the latch area. Press it manually (with power off) to ensure it moves freely.
• Continuity test: Disconnect the switch and test with a multimeter. It should change from open to closed when pressed. Replace if faulty.
• Check wiring: Inspect the harness from the switch to the control board for breaks or loose connectors. Repair as needed.
