Display shows LOC or a padlock symbol, and the oven will not start.

Safety: No internal repair is usually required for this condition.

• Disable child lock: On many New World models, press and hold the Plus (+) and Minus (−) buttons together for 3–5 seconds until LOC disappears. On others, hold the Timer or Function key for several seconds. Refer to the user manual for the exact combination.
• Power reset: If the lock will not clear, turn off power for 1–2 minutes and then restore. Try the key combination again.
• Check for stuck buttons: If certain keys feel jammed or do not click, the keypad membrane may be faulty and require replacement of the clock/keypad assembly.
