ERR
Display shows ERR when setting temperature or time; the oven may not start.
Invalid Key Entry or Control Logic Error

Electronic control beeps continuously and displays F1; oven functions may be disabled or erratic.
Electronic Oven Control (EOC) Keypad or Control Board Failure
F2
Oven shuts off and displays F2 during or shortly after a bake or broil cycle; may be accompanied by beeping.
Oven Over-Temperature Condition

F3 displayed and oven will not heat or shuts off; may appear immediately when Bake or Broil is selected.
Oven Temperature Sensor Circuit Open

F4 displayed; oven may not heat correctly or may shut down unexpectedly.
Oven Temperature Sensor Circuit Shorted

F5 displayed; oven may not start or may stop mid-cycle; keypad may seem unresponsive.
Keypad / EOC Communication Error

F7 displayed intermittently or continuously; random beeping; oven may not start.
Stuck Key or Keypad Short

F8 displayed; oven may not heat or may shut off; sometimes appears during self-clean (if equipped).
Oven Over-Temperature or Relay Board Failure

F9 displayed; oven door may not lock/unlock properly during self-clean (if equipped) or oven will not start.
Door Lock Circuit Failure
LOC
Display shows LOC or a lock icon; oven controls do not respond; burners still operate on gas models.
Control Panel Child Lock Activated

Display shows a message indicating no flame or ignition failure on a Premier gas range with electronic ignition; the oven or burner will not stay lit.
Gas Ignition Failure / Flame Sensing Fault
PF
Display shows PF; clock resets; oven cancels any active cycle after a power interruption.
Power Failure Indication
Symptom
All gas surface burners spark continuously even when the knobs are in the OFF position.
Stuck Spark Switch or Shorted Ignition Circuit
Symptom
Clock and display work, but the oven will not start when Bake or Broil is selected; no relay click is heard.
Control Logic or Safety Interlock Failure
Symptom
Control knobs are hard to turn or feel loose and wobbly.
Worn Knob or Valve/Switch Shaft
Symptom
Electric oven will not heat on bake or broil; the display and lights work; stovetop elements may still heat.

Oven Temperature Calibration / Sensor Drift
Symptom
The clock or electronic display is blank; the oven and cooktop do not operate.

Symptom
The control panel or knobs become excessively hot to the touch during oven use.
Improper Venting or Door Seal Issue
Symptom
The cooktop glass (on smooth-top models) is cracked or shattered.
Damaged Ceramic Glass Cooktop
Symptom
The digital timer or clock on the Premier range does not keep correct time or loses its settings.
EOC Timekeeping Failure
Symptom
The electric cooktop element will not heat; the indicator light may or may not come on.
Open Surface Element or Infinite Switch Failure

The oven door will not close fully; heat escapes around the door; the oven may not reach the set temperature.
Door Hinge or Gasket Failure
Symptom
The oven door will not open after a self-clean cycle or after the oven cools; the door appears locked.
Stuck Oven Door Lock Mechanism
Symptom
The oven emits smoke or a burning odor during normal baking (not first use or self-clean).
Residue or Component Overheating
Symptom
The oven glass door is streaked or fogged between the glass panes and cannot be cleaned from the inside or outside.
Contaminated Oven Door Glass Assembly
Symptom
The oven interior light and fan (if equipped) stay on even when the door is closed and the oven is off.
