Oven display shows LOC or a lock icon; controls do not respond, and the oven will not start.

Safety first: No internal repair is needed for this condition unless the keypad is faulty.

• Unlock controls: Press and hold the designated Lock or Control Lock key (often the "9" or a padlock icon) for 3–5 seconds until the LOC indicator clears.
• Power reset: If the lock will not clear, turn off power at the breaker for 5 minutes, then restore and try again.
• Check keypad: If the lock icon remains and buttons are unresponsive, the keypad may be defective. Replace the control panel keypad assembly.
