Possible Causes
Child lock feature engaged, Stuck lock button on the keypad, Control board not exiting lock mode after a power interruption
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No internal access is required for this procedure.
- Disable child lock: On most Zline electronic ranges, press and hold the designated lock key (often marked with a padlock icon) for 3–5 seconds until the LOC indicator disappears. Refer to your user manual for the exact key combination.
- Power reset: If the lock will not clear, turn off power at the breaker for 1 minute, then restore and try the lock/unlock sequence again.
- Check keypad: If the lock key feels stuck or unresponsive, gently clean around the button with a soft cloth. Avoid spraying cleaner directly on the panel.
When to call a technician: If the control remains locked even after following the unlock procedure and power reset, the keypad or control board may be faulty and should be inspected by a technician.
