Possible Causes

Faulty fridge compartment NTC sensor, sensor not properly clipped to the wall or air channel, main control board miscalibration, or temperature set too low.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety: Unplug before accessing sensors or control boards.

Steps:

  • Check settings: Ensure the fridge temperature is set to around +4°C. Avoid the coldest setting unless necessary.
  • Sensor placement: Locate the fridge NTC sensor and confirm it is correctly positioned in its holder and not touching the evaporator directly.
  • Test sensor: If you have a multimeter, measure the sensor's resistance and compare it to the specifications. Replace if it is out of range.
  • Control reset: Disconnect power for 10 minutes to reset the control. If overcooling persists with a good sensor, the main PCB may be faulty and require replacement.
