How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the refrigerator before removing the control panel.
- Step 1 – Dry the panel: If condensation or spills occurred, wipe the surface and allow the panel to dry completely.
- Step 2 – Reset: Disconnect power for 5 minutes, then reconnect. If U14 persists, continue.
- Step 3 – Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the control panel and check the flat cable between the panel and main PCB. Reseat both ends.
- Step 4 – Replace control PCB: If certain keys remain unresponsive or U14 continues, replace the Panasonic control panel PCB.
