How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the refrigerator before removing interior panels.
- Step 1 – Remove drawers: Take out crisper drawers to expose the rear bottom of the refrigerator compartment.
- Step 2 – Locate drain hole: Find the small drain opening at the back center. Check for visible debris or slime.
- Step 3 – Flush drain: Use a turkey baster or syringe with warm water to flush the drain repeatedly until water flows freely.
- Step 4 – Clear from rear: If accessible, also clear the drain tube from the rear of the unit using flexible plastic line.
- Step 5 – Clean trough: Wipe the drain trough to prevent future blockages.
