Ice maker not producing ice, but water dispenser (if present) works normally.

Safety: Unplug the refrigerator and close the water supply before servicing the ice maker.

Steps to restore ice production:

• Check ice maker power switch: Ensure the ice maker arm or switch is in the ON position.
• Inspect for ice jams: Remove the ice bin and look for jammed cubes or frost blocking the ejector mechanism. Clear carefully.
• Check fill tube: Inspect the plastic fill tube for ice blockage. Thaw with warm air and correct any misalignment.
• Test ice maker module: If available, run a test cycle using the test button. If the module does not move, replace the ice maker assembly.

Note: After repair, allow several hours for the first batch of ice to be produced.
