Possible Causes
Loose condenser coils or lines, Refrigerator not leveled, Loose compressor mounting bolts, Items vibrating on top of unit
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Unplug the refrigerator before adjusting components at the rear.
Steps:
- Level the unit: Adjust front leveling legs so the refrigerator is solid and does not rock. Slight rearward tilt helps doors close.
- Check rear components: Ensure condenser coils and refrigerant lines are not touching each other or the cabinet. Gently bend or pad them to prevent contact.
- Inspect compressor mounts: Tighten any loose mounting hardware while ensuring rubber grommets remain in place.
- Remove or reposition items on top of the refrigerator that may vibrate.
