Frozen or Blocked Dispenser Water Line
The water dispenser is not working; there is no water flow, although the ice maker may still function.

Possible Causes
Frozen water line in the refrigerator door, kinked water line under the hinge, a clogged water filter, or a faulty dispenser switch.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety First: Turn off the water supply and unplug the refrigerator if you need to remove door panels.
Steps:
- Check the filter: Replace the water filter if it is older than 6 months or if the flow is weak.
- Test the valve: Listen for the water inlet valve clicking when you press the dispenser paddle. If it clicks but no water flows, suspect a frozen line.
- Thaw the door line: Open the freezer door and gently warm the dispenser area and door edge with a hair dryer on a low setting, moving it constantly. Do not overheat the plastic.
- Inspect for kinks: Check the water line where it passes through the bottom hinge for any kinks or damage.
- If the line is clear and the valve does not energize, test the dispenser switch and replace it if it is faulty.
