Refrigerator is making loud knocking, banging, or rattling noises during operation.

Steps:

• Level the fridge: Use a spirit level and adjust the front feet so the cabinet is stable and slightly tilted back.
• Check internal fans: Listen to identify if the noise is coming from inside (evaporator fan) or the rear of the unit (condenser fan/compressor).
• Inspect evaporator fan: Remove the freezer rear panel and check if the fan blades are hitting ice or wiring. Clear obstructions and secure wiring away from the blades.
• Inspect condenser fan: At the rear of the unit, ensure the fan is not hitting the shroud or any debris. Tighten mounting screws.
• Compressor mounts: Check that the compressor mounting bolts or rubber grommets are intact and not excessively loose.
