Possible Causes
Weak Wi-Fi signal at the charging station, Antenna cable damaged or disconnected, Firmware bug affecting connectivity, Interference from nearby routers
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: No special electrical hazard, but avoid opening sealed RF modules unless qualified.
- Check signal strength: Stand near the charging station with your phone and verify Wi-Fi signal quality. Move the router or station to improve coverage.
- Reduce interference: Change your router's Wi-Fi channel to avoid congestion. Keep the station away from large metal objects.
- Restart network: Reboot your router and power cycle the mower and charging station.
- Inspect antenna (if accessible): Ensure the Wi-Fi antenna cable is connected to the mainboard and not pinched or broken.
- Update firmware: Use the Ecovacs app to install any available firmware updates that address connectivity issues.
If E17 persists with good Wi-Fi coverage, the mower's Wi-Fi module or antenna may need replacement.
