Possible Causes
Boundary wire laid too close to edges, Wire not forming a closed loop, Strong electromagnetic interference, Boundary wire broken and shorted to itself
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and unplug the charging station before adjusting the boundary wire.
- Verify closed loop: Ensure the boundary wire starts and ends at the station terminals, forming a complete loop.
- Adjust distances: Move the wire further from edges like driveways, ponds, or flowerbeds, according to the Greenworks manual.
- Avoid interference: Keep the boundary wire away from buried power lines or metal fences where possible.
- Check for shorts: Inspect for places where the wire may be twisted together or damaged, causing signal distortion.
After adjustments, test the mower along the problematic edge and fine-tune the wire position as needed.
