Robot mower smells strongly of mold or mildew when opened or handled.

Safety first: Turn OFF the mower and wear gloves and a mask if sensitive to mold.

• Clean underbody: Remove all grass clippings from under the deck and around the motors.
• Wipe interior surfaces: With covers removed only if allowed by the manual, wipe accessible plastic surfaces with a mild detergent solution. Avoid soaking electronics.
• Dry thoroughly: Store the mower in a dry, ventilated area with the cover open (if possible) until the odor diminishes.

Severe mold inside foam seals or wiring harnesses may require replacement of affected parts.
